Kei Alcoseba is not only the double / electric bassist of the Instrumentality Combo, but the bandleader and founder as well (with a little spice of piano and vocals here and there). She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music / Bachelor of Education (Secondary) with an emphasis on Wind Band and a minor in Social Studies at the University of Alberta, after dropping out of criminology.

They are an active member of several Edmonton-based groups, and her calendar is primarily spent with teaching or music rehearsals and performances. In addition, they are frequently called to give electric and string bass masterclasses or to step in as a live session bassist for some local artists.

In her free time, you can find Kei arranging, teaching their private students, or simply taking public transit as a form of enjoyment — despite being a skilled driver.
